ZoomText Magnifier/Reader is a fully integrated magnification and screen reading program that enlarges, enhances and reads aloud everything on the computer screen.

ZoomText 10 Magnifier/Reader includes all the features of ZoomText Magnifier, plus:

• ZoomText Recorder
  The ZoomText Recorder allows you to turn text from documents, webpages, email, etc. into audio recordings that you can transfer to on your mobile device and listen to at your convenience.  Recordings can be saved directly to a ZoomText Recorder playlist in iTunes or Windows Media Player and automatically synced to your mobile device. 
• ZoomText Background Reader
  ZoomText’s Background Reader allows you to listen to documents, webpages, email, etc. while you simultaneously perform other tasks.  You simply select the text you want to listen to and press the Background Reader hotkey, Background Reader begins reading the text while you go about other work.  At any time you can pause and resume reading and skim forward and backward by word or sentence. 
• ‘NeoSpeech’ Synthesizer Voices

ZoomText Camera Stand



The perfect companion to the Logitech C615 camera we sell is this custom made camera stand. Manufactured specifically for us in the USA, this durable, high-quality piece of equipment helps provide optimal positioning of your camera. The stand clamps to your desk or tabletop with its C-Clamp style base.

In addition, the stand has a 24 inch goose neck that allows you to adjust it to accommodate printed material or larger objects that you would like to read. At the end of the neck is a tripod screw that extends 1/4 inch out so that you can screw your camera directly to the neck of the stand. If you already have a HD webcam you can still purchase the stand from us. Just make sure that your camera has a female tripod screw adapter.

• How does the ZoomText Camera image quality compare to conventional CCTVs?

  When properly configured the ZoomText Camera feature displays impressive image quality that rivals many conventional CCTVs—even in low light conditions. A properly configured setup includes the following:

  • Using an HD webcam with 1080p resolution
  • Positioning the camera lens approximately 4 inches from the object
  • Moderate even lighting over the object

• Does the ZoomText Camera feature require a special camera?

  No. ZoomText Camera works with standard HD webcams that are readily available from most consumer electronics retailers (e.g. Best Buy, Staples).

• What HD webcams do you recommend?

  While any HD webcam (1080p or 720p) will work, Ai Squared is currently recommending any HD webcam from Logitech or Microsoft, including the Logitech c910 and c615, and the Microsoft LifeCam Studio. These recommendations will likely change as new webcams are introduced.

  Ai Squared’s current favorite is the Logitech c615 for the following reasons:
  • Affordably priced: $79 retail (US)
  • 1080p HD resolution
  • Autofocus lens that supports positioning as close as 10 centimeters
  • Full 360 degree swivel design allows for quick/easy adjustment of camera angle.
  • Tripod-ready—contains threaded base that can be attached to a camera stand.

• Does the ZoomText Camera feature require special lighting?

  No. The ZoomText Camera feature works very well in a regularly lit room. Special lighting is only necessary when lighting is very low or when circumstances have created uneven lighting in the camera’s view.

• Will Ai Squared offer HD webcams for sale?

  Yes. Ai Squared will be reselling the Logitech c615 webcam for $79.

• Will Ai Squared offer a camera stand for sale?

  Yes. Ai Squared offers two custom camera stands for sale - one that clamps to the edge of your desk ($109) and one that will sit atop any flat surface ($129).
